Knifte

So, recently, through the medium of ‘facebook’, i had been seeing a few interesting posts and pictures from a German friend of mine, Janosch Wengenroth. He is a graphic designer from Bonn in Germany and someone i have come to appreciate as a creative mind and generally cool dude.

The images he was posting were cartoon/comic like illustrations and several featured speach bubbles with text written in German. German not being a language i am too familiar with (i can say ‘i play football with Klinsman, in the Bundesliga’ – this is a lie), i appreciated -‘liked’- the posts for the art on display. I get the same sense of appreciation when i hear foreign hip-hop,  i perhaps don’t understand the lyrics but i can appreciate the flows and hear the voice almost as an instrument complimenting the production.

Looking further into ‘Knifte’, i have found myself a new addition to my ‘favorite artists’ catagory.
